Evil Eye Choker

The Evil Eye Choker, featuring Silver Sheen Obsidian. Obsidian is the product of molten lava from a volcanic eruption. When the lava is cooled quickly (typically introduction to a body of water) it turns into glassy obsidian. In this case, the obsidian has trapped tiny needle-like inclusions of reflective minerals (cristobalite) which are responsible for the silvery chatoyant effect observed in Silver Sheen Obsidian. This stone is used as a powerful amulet for protection which makes it the perfect match for this Evil Eye design. The chain is tighter, as a true choker, around 13” with a handmade clasp. Makers mark is on the backplate- all components are .925 sterling silver.
