Magical Talisman

‘Magic’. This necklace is 100% hand fabricated, including the 20” handmade chain and clasp. Our local metalsmith group hosted a creative challenge where we created pieces based upon the theme of a Forged Fairytale. When creating this necklace I wanted to lean into the grand theme of all fairytales, the perseverance of good to overcome bad. Therefore you can see the chatoyant moonstone and bright silver shining through the middle of the darkened star shaped pendant. For extra fun, I designed the shape to resemble fairy dust, like that which comes off Fairy Godmother’s wand when Cinderella transforms magically from rags to riches.
